I can't believe that you are 5 months old. It seems like just yesterday your were a brand new baby. You are growing so fast. Here is just a little bit of what you have been up to the last few months of your life. By 3 months you were sleeping through the night. With all of our other children we would have to teach them to sleep through the night after about 6 months. With you however, you just started doing it yourself. We would put you to bed at 8:00pm and you would sleep soundly till about 6-6:30am. Mom and Dad were so happy. After a week or so of sleeping through the night we moved you into your crib. You share a room with your brothers Jacob and Ben. You had no problem making the adjustment to your new room and crib. You still like to sleep with your arms and legs wrapped up tight in your blanket just like a newborn.
At 4 months we introduced you to rice cereal. Your first feeding was so fun. Your brothers and sister all gathered around you to watch. Of course you ended up spitting all of the cereal out just like any baby would the first time. But now several weeks later you are a pro and can eat a bowl of cereal without making a mess. You really like the cereal and get excited with every spoonful.
For the last few months it seems like you have been teething. You love to chew and suck on anything you can get into your mouth. Toys, blankets, your fist whatever you can. If mom or dad put their finger in your mouth with your blanket over it, you will suck and suck till the blanket is soaked.
At your 4 month check up you weighed 13 pounds 8 oz. Your mom and dad think your are a chubby cute little baby. Most of your siblings have been pretty skinny. You have rolled over from your back to your stomach 3 times already. But twice no one saw you but 1 time dad did see you do it. You don't really like spending to much time on your stomach. You love playing in your excersaucer and laying on the floor. You have out grown your baby swing already. Dad already gave you your first really hair cut the day after Thanksgiving. You were not very happy. We love your thick dark hair and your beautiful brown eyes.
Andrew your mom and dad love you so very much. We love taking care of you and love having you in our family. You are indeed a blessing from Heaven.
